Recently I’ve started taking pictures of bikes I see outside shops, here’s a selection from Bristol and Salisbury.

  1. I’ve just come back from Amsterdam, where you couldn’t move for bikes outside shops. Oh, if only England was flat.

  2. Where you live is flat isn’t it? I’m surrounded by ’em.

  3. Birmingham is built on five hills, apparently. Lucky me lives in one of the valleys. Sutton Park has some great hills to cycle down, including an old bomb site where, if you’re feeling brave, you can speed down towards the holly bushes and nettles for five seconds of exhilaration.

    Not sure where the “Skeleton Hill” is, as referenced by Wikipedia. I will investigate.
